In September 2005 Professor Stanley S. (Bob) Davis received the Hoest-Madsen Medal for lifetime achievement in the pharmaceutical sciences from the International Federation of Pharmacy (FIP). The award was given at the Annual FIP meeting held in Cairo. He gave a lecture entitled ‘Formulations for the Future’. pdf1 pdf2
Also in September 2006 Bob participated in the special one day conference to celebrate the 65th Birthday of Prof. Sandy Florence the Dean of the School of Pharmacy in London. His presentation was entitled ‘Fashionable Formulations’
In November 2006 Professor Davis was awarded an honorary DSc. by the School of Pharmacy, London University.
